Being Blind In China is an interactive research project led by 63 year old Canadian man, Bill Moore. Bill has glaucoma and he is only months away from becoming completely blind. Bill is an author, a teacher and a traveler who is willing to build a new life in China’s Yunnan Province and share his experience with the world.

Over the course of two years, Bill Moore will travel to China, earn a living, research blind resources and develop a project in the Chinese community. Bill will share his adventure using internet blogs, a website, audio podcasts, pictures and video. Bill will also be researching and writing a book about his experience.

The total cost of this project is $33,750 for a two year program. This money will only be used for project related costs and Bill will be expected to make a living to feed himself during the entire two year term.
